Sprenger Eggbutt Mullen Hard Carbon Bit
The Sprenger Eggbutt bit has a mullen hard carbon mouth piece. The hard carbon is black in colour. Hard carbon is durable. This bit is a good snaffle for horses that tend to back off from fences or rider aids. It applies contact to the horse's tongue width and stimulates it in a gentle yet effective manner. When pressure is applied, the bit is more stable in the mouth and rotates less freely than a loose ring bit. The small oval rings cause pressure on the tongue and bars. The Eggbutt prevents pinching in the corners of the horse's mouth. This is good for horses who are sensitive in those areas. This bit is considered a gentle bit.

Use: One rein is used with this bit; a rubber, laced or web rein as your main rein connected to the bit ring.
